On Friday evening the IMAA Golden Eagle Squadron of the Sarasota R/C Squadron held its 15th annual Christmas party. This year's event was held once again at the Serenoa County Club off Clarke Road. All arrangements had been made by chairman Tom Smith who also performed the MC duties. Festivities got started about 6:00pm with the serving of wine and brochettes and the opening of a cash bar. Dinner was served at seven o'clock.

The one serious note of the evening: Executive Officer - Ed Buchholz presented a financial summery of 2007.

After dinner Tom Smith conducted the annual "Scotch Christmas". Eva Winter was the "Number 1" gal and John Hall was the "Number 1" guy.

At the completion of the "Scotch Christmas" Squadron Commander, John Hall, presented the traditional Commander's gift to the membership. He chose a Mini Maglite flash light with the Squadron name and IMAA chapter number laser engraved  on the side.

Everyone who attended had a great time. If you were not there, we missed you, well maybe some of you!
