Meeting Minutes

August 15, 2007

Meeting was called to order at 7:pm. Commander John Hall led the group in the pledge to our flag. Roll was called by Executive Officer Ed Buchholz, there were 12 members present.  Operations Officer Chuck Duke was not present and Vince Veltri took the meeting minutes in his absence.

Minutes of the June meeting were read by Vince Veltri, motion to accept by Mike Winter, second by Bernie Salomon, Passed.

The Treasury Report was given by Ed Buchholz and there is $XXX.XX  in the treasury.

Motion to accept the treasurer’s report was made by Mike Winter and seconded by

Nick Ziroli. Passed

Old Business: 

Mike asked who the CD for AirFair 2008 is. He then volunteered for the job, what a guy! Mike will ask SRQ if we can hold the event on April 19^th and 20^th.

Tom Smith volunteered to assist Mike with the CD chores.

Mike gave a report about the recent NATS trip made by Vince, Jon and Mike.

Mike commented that the Nats, this year, was not a scale masters qualifier.

Tom reminded everyone about the annual Christmas party to be held again at

Serenoa Golf Club on November 30^th.

New  Business: None

Show and Tell: Tom Smith brought a video of WWII naval training on Lake Michigan.

Naval aviators qualified for carrier operations on the Sable and Wolverine.

50/50 was won by Ed Buchholz show and tell portion by Tom Smith.

Meeting adjourned at 8:44.
