Meeting Minutes

May 19th, 2010

Meeting was called to order by Commander John Hall. He then led the group in the pledge of allegiance. There were 12 members present. Operations Officer Vince Veltri read the minutes of the April meeting. There was motion to accept by Paul Jantzen, second by Roger Niolet, motion passed. Executive Officer Ed Buchholz gave a treasury report. There is a balance after all income and expenses of $XXX.XX

Income from Air Fair 2010 was $XX.XX and there were expenses of $XXX.XX for a gross profit of $XXX.XX.  There was a motion from the floor to accept by Mike Winter and second by Don Janssen. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Mike Winter had received five internet subscriptions from R/C Report Online and he drew names, at the meeting, of registered pilots and the winners will receive their prize certificates by mail. He also had six extra Zap Glue bottles which will be distributed to members in attendance at this meeting. Although the weather was less than ideal and we had fewer pilots than in previous years, we were able to make a profit mainly from the donations by sponsors.

John Hall reported that East Rd. will be closed until June. He will provide signs placed on the road to guide people to an alternate route for the swap meet.

New Business:

Jim Martin reminded the group that he is the Sunshine Chairman. He will send get well cards to members and family who are experiencing health issues.

Show and Tell: John Hall showed a ZDZ80 he recently purchased from TBM.

There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.

The fifty/ fifty was won by Nick Ziroli.
