Meeting Minutes

April 16th, 2008

Meeting called to order at 7:10 by Commander John Hall. He then led us in the pledge to the flag.  Attendance was taken by John and there were twelve present.

Minutes from the March meeting were read by Ops Officer Vince Veltri. Motion by Mike Winter to accept, motion passed.

Executive Officer Ed Buchholz gave a Treasury report. After expenses related to Air Fair, there is a balance remaining of $XXX.XX Motion to accept the report was made by

Tom Smith, second by Bernie Saloman, motion passed.

Old Business:  Mike Winter gave a report on the upcoming GES Air Fair.

Gene Payson, of Troybuilt Models donated two giant scale props for giveaways at the fly in. Also, Frank Tiano sent a box of ca glue to be given to the entrants, as well.

John Hall reported that he obtained an IMAA legal Cub from Horizon Hobby and a JR Radio and an Evolution .46 for the raffle prize at a reduced cost to the club of $XXX.XX

It was reported by CD Mike Winter that Joe Fast cut the grass for the upcoming event.

Thank you Joe! Sarasota Military Academy will handle the parking and as well.

New Business: There was no new business.

John called for a ten minute break.

Tom Smith brought a video from a prior Reno Air Show.

The 50/50 was won by Roger Niolet.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20.
