Meeting Minutes

March 17^th, 2010

Meeting called to order at 7:10 by Commander John Hall. He led the group in the pledge to our flag.

There were 13 members present. Vince read the minutes from the last meeting. There was a motion to accept by Paul Jantzen, second by Bernie, motion passed.Exec. Officer Ed Buchholz gave the Treasurer’s report and there is a balance to date of $XXX.XX After expenses for the month there is a balance of $XXX.XX Motion to accept by Joe Wright, second by Phil Bender, motioned passed.  Old Business: Paul reported that he made arrangements to rent the Farm Bureau Bldg. for our Spring Swap Meet, to be held on May 22, 2010. The net cost will be $XX.XX. The table fee will be $15 each.  John and Ed will co chair the event.

John Hall reported that he made arrangements for the color guard and parking for the event.

Chuck Duke has volunteered to handle the flight line.

John Hall will contact Troy Built Models for a possible donation for our raffle prize.

John Hall will make arrangements for an additional porta-potty for the event.

Vince will contact David Speed concerning the food concession for Air Fair. GES would like to know what the menu will be, pricing and costs, since the event is fast approaching (April 24/25)

There was no new business.

Show and Tell: Don Janssen told about a vibration problem in his D-Vll caused by a loose engine bolt.

He also showed a muffler that he had fabricated by a friend who combined two mufflers into one good one.

There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned at 8:20pm.

50/50 was won by Paul Jantzen.
