November 28th, 2018
  • President DeRoy called the meeting to order at 7:09 PM.

  • President’s Report:

    • 2019 nametags are complete.Thanks to mike Pass and his team.

    • The ATV is still in for maintenance due to electrical problems, therefore jet flying is only allowed when a FWD SUV or pickup is present.

    • Club fire extinguishers have been professionally maintained.

    • The “Pineapple Express” food truck will provide lunch at the Warbirds event.

  • VP’s Report:

    • VP Sundheimer reported that members brought fourteen military models to the Friendship center event. Thanks to members Veltri, Bucholz, Hay, Ziroli, Jannsen, Cameron, Dennis and Magliano.

    • Entertainment program featured video from the 1939 national Air Races.

  • Treasurer Dennis’ Report:

    • Financials were accepted as presented.

    • Current membership is 202.

  • Secretary Hasler’s Report:

    • November board and membership minutes were accepted as published without comment.

  • New and Old business:

    • Current officers DeRoy (Pesident), Sundheimer(VP), Dennis(Treasurer), Hasler(Secretary) and board members Magliano, Cameron and Lassiter were re-elected to office for 2019 by unanimous voice vote.

    • A discussion ensued concerning moving membership meetings to Saturday mornings at the club field with no motions being made at this time.

    • A discussion ensued concerning the involvement of drone flying at the field with no motions being made at the time.

  • Meeting adjourned at 8:22 PM 

November 7th, 2018
  • President DeRoy called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.

    • All board members were present.

    • Dr. Ali Haas was present as a guest.

  • Treasurer Dennis presented the October financial report. It was accepted as presented.

  • The October membership and board meeting minutes were accepted as presented by Secretary Hasler.

  • VP Sundheimer suggested that Youtube videos be used when live presentations were not available for meeting entertainment.

  • New and old business:

    • The club ATV has been sent away for general maintenance and rear brakes. During its absence jets may only fly if a four wheel drive SUV with fire extinguishers is available.

    • Mike Cameron advised that display aircraft must be delivered to the Friendship center by 9AM for the Veterans Day celebration on Nov 12& 13.

    • Warbirds event, Dec.8: Flyers and websites are current. “Full Belly Burgers” will not be available for the event.

    • VP Sundheimer advised that the insurance settlement is close to being finalized.

    • It will be decided at the December board meeting if the membership meeting location will be moved to the club OPs building and the meeting time changed to Saturday morning.

    • Dr. Hass advised that working contest personnel, i.e. CD’s and flight line bosses, should be knowledgeable about locations of first aide materials and hospital locations.
