  • President Sundheimer called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm • 14 members were in attendance • President Sundheimer led the Pledge of Allegiance.

  • President Sundheimer asked for officer and committee reports:

    • Without objections or changes, the secretary’s minutes from April were accepted.

    • The April 2017 financials were presented by Pres. Sundheimer in Keith Dennis’ absence and accepted as read.

  • Nick Ziroli presented his 1/5th Scale Cessna 150. Nick explained the construction, motor and electronics of the plane. Very informative! (Should see a maiden flight in a few weeks!)

  • Don Jannsen brought the fuselage of his D-7 to tell the group of the modeling of this 1/3rd scale plane. A monumental project that may be flying very soon!

  • Raffle prizes donated by David Speed:

    • 1. 3-D Funky 40 kit

    • 2. Model airplane/boat workstand

  • An additional prize was drawn . . . .

    • 3. QuikSteel adhesive

  • The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm  

April 2017
  • President Sundheimer called the meeting to order at 6:03pm. All present.

  • VP Report:

    • Next month’s program will be offered to Golden Eagles. A raffle prize to be selected.

  • Treasurer’s Report:

    • April 2017 financials accepted as presented

  • Secretary’s Report:

    • April 2017 Member Meeting minutes to be prepared and put on the website.

  • Committee Reports:

    • Maintenance:

      • Ken to investigate and purchase edger

      • Tables have been repaired and will be painted

      • Two additional cameras to be purchased and installed.

    • Membership:

      • 226 members – board had a brief discussion on 2017 membership drop

    • Safety:

      • No issues reported

    • Old Business:

      • The board will prepare a proposal for an additional shed/building for the four-wheeler.

      • The Air Fair food and drink concession costs vs income was a wash.

    • New Business:

      • The county will be advised of non-member ‘visitors’ to the facility. There have been recent instances of unauthorized autos and mischief after hours.
